Can I still run rampant through the store anyway?...https://www.blogger.com/profile/15976878831746650620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6351795453397438438.post-74394005753918028292009-01-05T06:02:00.000-08:002009-01-05T06:02:00.000-08:00Facing it out is one thing-- but it isn't the ...Facing it out is one thing-- but it isn't the other writers I worry about, it is the poor people who work at that store!

Also-- lets say the store orders 10 copies. You take five of them & scatter them about. If the store sells those five copies still in the right place? They won't reorder any more. Hey, they still have five copies in the store, that is what the computer says. & if I go in to pick up a copy of the book, can't find it in it's spot-- well, that is a lost sale. So scattering the book is really only a strategy I'd employ if I didn't think the book could sell by its own merits.mordicaihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05713766652793265867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6351795453397438438.post-27874911582229180382009-01-04T21:28:00.000-08:002009-01-04T21:28:00.000-08:00I "face out" friends' books all the time. I like to think they'll do the same for me someday.ssashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15527483283426518167noreply@blogger.com
