The Perfect Drug

It's what my writing is to me.

Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails says it best in the song "The Perfect Drug".

I got my head, but my head is unraveling
can't keep control, can't keep track of where it's traveling

I got my heart but my heart is no good
and you're the only one that's understood

I come along but I don't know where you're taking me
I shouldn't go but you're reaching, dragging, shaking me

Turn off the sun, pull the stars from the sky
the more I give to you, the more I DIE!!!!!!

And I want you and I want you and I want you and I want you

You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug you are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug

You make me hard, when I'm all soft inside
I see the truth, when I'm all stupid eyed

The arrow goes straight through my heart
without you everything just falls apart

My blood wants to say hello to you
my feelings want to get inside of you

My soul is so afraid to realize how very little there is left of me

and I want you and I want you and I want you and I want you!

You are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug you are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug you are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug you are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug you are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug you are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug you are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug you are the perfect drug, the perfect drug, the perfect drug you are the perfect drug, the drug

The perfect drug take me,

if you want take me,
if you want take me,
if you want take me,

if you want
without you everything falls apart

without you, it's not as much fun to pick up the pieces
without you, without you everything falls apart

without you, it's not as much fun to pick up the pieces
it's not as much fun to pick up the pieces

it's not as much fun to pick up the pieces without you,
without you everything falls apart

Without you, it's not as much fun to pick up the pieces

That is an awesome song...

Aaaargh, all these comments.

1. Smoking is just lame. Stop it! I don't want my one cheerleader to get lung cancer and die, m'kay?

Shit, I'll even buy you menthol! Or whatever the healthier cig is.

2. At this point, I'll be lucky if they're even in the same house for Thanksgiving.

3. There's a reason for me to make a riff video. But more practice is needed. And no, no furry. Haven't found the right animal. And yiffing is scary shit.

4. Hey, you are humans! I like slippers, too.

5. I love Michael Cera!

6. I tried not to make it sound so cheezy, but...well, it needed it. =) I did intense bloggification this week, I know...But I like to clip my toenails. I have methods.

Awesome to see you visiting here Spyscribbler. I've seen you round the parts of the blogosphere I stalk, I occasionally stalk yours as well. Love the whole "espionage" deal. Yer way cool.

I was listening to The Perfect Drug on the way home from a really instense appointment with the therapist, and this song just struck such a profound chord with me. I'm glad you like Nin. They are awesome.

Watsky,

(I like the way your last name sounds, just for the record.)

You are too kind. I think you have far more "cheerleaders" than you realize. I think you scare alot of people off because you aren't afraid to tell the truth, even if it shoots them right between the eyes. A lot of people are jealous of that quality, because not many humans can possess such a quality with the grace and ease that you do. I know it gets rough when people've said they've had enough of you, but don't ever apologize for yerself. People will get over their own bullshit, and to the people that REALLY matter in your life, they will learn to adapt and mold to your form and won't expect you to apologize for who you are or what you feel or change any facet of you just because it makes them feel like the douch(e)bag that they are.

And I NEED to smoke. It's my substitute for prostituting myself downtown on 10th Street, whoring myself out to crack and herion. But thank you nonetheless. Your concern warms the heart all fuzzy-like and what not. :)

Also, are you on Mr. Cera's tip because of that Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist flick?? I've not got to see that one yet. Is it any good???

Hey, I have no problem with SMOKING, as a concept...but I would never smoke. Ever. Especially not drugs.

NO DRUGS.

:D

I just hate it when smoking infringes upon my rights as a student. From 7:30-3, we are literally not permitted to leave the building, even if we need something in our cars, even if it's a nice day for lunch outside...because the smokers are at it again. They're punishing us for what a bunch of idiots are doing.

I loved Nick and Nora! Juno was great, too.
